At Catalyst we are passionate about connecting the youth in our community to healthy stable mentors. In order to do this, we need community members like you, who are willing to invest 1 hour a week.
We do not take your willingness to show up for kids lightly, and we always want you to feel like you can be successful as a mentor. We want to make sure you are supported in your mentoring journey, so we’ve created trainings that will give you the background knowledge and simple ideas for how to engage with your mentee. We provide activities and curriculum that you can follow during mentoring sessions as well as manage all of the scheduling so that you can show up and focus on your mentee. Ultimately, with just 1 hour a week you could be making huge ripples in the lives of the youth of our community.

What does it take to become a mentor?
There are a few steps to becoming a mentor:
- Application
- Interview
- LiveScan
- TB test (if on campuses)
- Training
When would I be mentoring?
We provide mentoring Monday – Friday, either during lunch time on school campuses or in the afternoons in our office.
